Your sports or physical activity club could be eligible to access up to £1500!

Community Chest offers grants of up to £1,500 for activities that encourages Everybody Actif, Everyday and to raise the standard of existing activities.

Who can apply?

The scheme is open to any group that wishes to organise activities aimed at getting Everybody Actif, Everyday

The group must hold a bank account in the organisation’s name.

The scheme is not open to individual members of the public, primary schools or secondary schools who are part of the 5X60 scheme.

The grant will pay for:

Normally grant aid will only be provided for the first 20 sessions of the project so it is wise to consider how you will fund the project when the grant money has been spent.

Other grants

Sport Wales Development Grant

Clubs and organisations can apply for up to £25,000 from the Sport Wales Development Grant scheme for activities that increase participation and improve standards of performance in sport.

The grant will pay for large items of equipment and coach education.

Talented Juniors and International Award

If your club is affiliated to the Ceredigion Sports Council you may eligible to nominate individuals for a Talented Junior and International Award.

The Talented Junior grant is aimed to assist Talented Junior individuals (school age) in their pursuit of excellence. There is a limit of £100 towards the total costs.

The International Award will be in the form on an Honorarium, a Certificate of Acheivment and a County Polo Shirt.
