Ceredigion County Council, in partnership with the Welsh Government, provide Free Swimming for Children and Young people aged 16 & under, Older People over 60 years of age and for past and present members of the Armed Forces.
There are 2 Ceredigion County Council pools in Ceredigion which participate in the Free Swim Initiative:
Free swimming during School Holidays
Ceredigion Actif currently offer FREE swimming sessions for under 16's throughout all School Holidays.
For the FREE swim session times, take a look at the Pool Holiday Opening Times which are published prior to each School holiday.
Free Swimming during Term Time
Aberystwyth - Plascrug Swimming Pool offer Free Swim on Saturday 11.00 - 13.00 all year.
Ceredigion Actif currently offer FREE swimming to people over 60 on set days only and at a reduced rate of £2.80 on other days.

Lampeter Swimming Pool
All Public Swim sessions on Thursdays are included in the FREE swim initiative.
Plascrug Swimming Pool
All Public Swim sessions on Mondays are included in the FREE swim initiative.
Ceredigion County Council have agreed to offer free swimming to veterans and serving personnel of the Armed Forces during public sessions at their local swimming pools.
Anyone who wants to take advantage of the scheme must be in possession of an MOD Defence Privilege Card, and the scheme will not apply to spouses / partners or family members.
